Deep Tissue Massage
Deep Tissue Massage is a massage technique that focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue. It aims to release the chronic patterns of tension in the body through slow strokes and deep finger pressure on the contracted areas, either following or going across the fibers of the muscles, tendons and fascia.
Swedish Massage
The term "Swedish Massage" refers to a variety of techniques specifically designed to relax muscles by applying pressure to them against deeper muscles and bones, and rubbing in the same direction as the flow of blood returning to the heart.
Sports Massage
Sports Massage is a special form of massage and is typically used before, during, and after athletic events. The purpose of the massage is to prepare the athlete for peak performance, to drain away fatigue, to relieve swelling, to reduce muscle tension, to promote flexibility and to prevent injuries.
Therapeutic Massage:This massage is designed to help with migraines and chronic pain. I will work with the muscles of the particular area causing pain, such as tight muscles in the lower back. This massage helps release the tightness.
Pregnancy Massage:
Being pregnant causes a strain on your body. I will provide a relaxing massage to release tension caused by the changes of being pregnant. You will be able to snuggle into a body pillow as I melt your tensions away.
Reflexology:Foot and hand massage. This is a great way to work areas that regular massage can't reach. It works with reflex points that are in the hands and feet.
Aromatherapy:Candles are used in the room for a relaxing feeling. The low light and soft music is to help with relaxation. A heated massage table can assist in the relaxation process.
